Meeting up with Dante

We are blessed that we get to see Dante (red collar from litter A) every Saturday at our local dog socialization class.  All the other puppies are spread out across the country.  Dante loves to come see his mama, give her kisses, and try to get her to play.  He does the same with "Uncle Mack."  Here are a couple cute pics we took of the dogs after class.

He always has to give Patrick a little sugar.  :o)  Dante is such a sweet, loving, good-natured boy!

A little plug for socialization: Socialization is SO IMPORTANT for dogs, especially a growing puppy.  The more they are exposed to the less their likelihood of developing bad behaviors with people and/or other dogs.  Puppies leave our care having met a minimum of 100 different people and several dozen friendly, healthy dogs.  We give them the best start possible in this area.  But, it is up to the new owners to continue properly socializing their puppy before he/she reaches maturity.  I love it when I see our puppy owners taking this seriously and providing ample opportunities for their puppy to develop healthy social habits and experiences.  If you have questions about how to properly socialize your puppy, just ask!  We are happy to encourage and help in any way possible!
