"My experience with Snow Spring Dobes could not have been any better. I live in Virginia so I knew dealing with a breeder all the way out in Utah may be challenging. So I decided to give them a call and get some more details. I spoke with Meggen and knew right away I was dealing with someone who knew what she was doing. She was very informative and helpful from the very beginning. After initially speaking with her, I knew that I was going to get my Doberman from Snow Spring Dobes. Throughout the process she provided me with answers to my many questions without any problems and extremely expeditiously. "Atticus is EXACTLY what I wanted ... x100 :) He is like my second shadow - he follows me everywhere, and is always cuddling. I don't know how many times I've been sitting in a chair and he's tried crawling up to be in my lap.
"I'm pretty sure he's the sweetest dog ever. He wants to say hello and
lick EVERYONE. Random people will come up to us to ask if they can pet
him, and once they get close enough he is all about being their best
friend and giving kisses. There's been some moments when other dogs have gotten snippy -
and he just stares at them like 'whatcha doing friend?' His lack of
aggression is really impressive, and I think you should be proud of
that!

side to go explore is when we're at the dog park or in the backyard,

From a position of objectivity I have had the privilege of owning 5 Dobermans prior to adding Pepper to my family. From a position of subjectivity, this is the best, most enjoyable and rewarding experience I have had with a pet, and pet purchase. It would be very accurate and easy to write a 5 page letter of endorsement, but there are significant features and procedures that are of such great value that I will simply list them.
• First and foremost by far was my experience (from day one to today, the 5 month birthday of my puppy) with Meggen, and her total dedication to the litter, and the buyers.
• The parents were screened and matched for quality of health, temperament, and conformation.
• The time spent socializing the puppies created remarkably well adjusted puppies, willing to be trained and to interact with any and all strangers: human and animal, cats, dogs, etc.
• Being able to watch the puppies grow on video, to watch their personalities develop. And to ask Meggen many times regarding their personalities.
• To get the exact dog I wanted, and to have a Snow Springs Dobe that excels in intelligence, affection, and obedience.
• As the time drew near to get Pepper, we talked about nutrition, ear cropping, and training.
• She performed a behavior evaluation at 7 weeks to aid in identifying the qualities each buyer would want.
The “proud parent” part of the letter is a reflection of the care which began with the breeding.
• Pepper would sit and retrieve at 8 weeks
• Speak and catch a tennis ball from 15 feet at 10 weeks
• Potty trained at 11 weeks
• Crate trained from when I got him at 8 weeks
• He is so alert and was able to remember to take all the correct turns to return home after only 2 walks of 1 mile.
• He is so happy to meet new people each day and is non-aggressive with new dogs.
• The intuitive interaction with me is borderline amazing; he is just so intelligent!
• He sleeps on my bed, and one night I woke up to see him standing above me. He reached over very carefully with a paw, and placed it lightly on my chin to let me know he needed to go out. This is a reflection of the quality of the breeders care in selection.
• Everywhere we go people stop and comment on his appearance and personality.
• I still call and ask questions 3 months after purchase, and actually feel as though I am a member of her family.
Meggen and her family raised this litter, giving them the same care and attention they would if they were going to keep them as personal companions, and their personal devotion will be immediately and permanently obvious. This will be an experience you will treasure forever.
