Anya: Heat!

Anya is in heat!  She had her first appointment with our vet, Dr. Carl Pew, this morning and was given a 100% clean bill of health and recommendation to proceed with the next breeding.  We are excited about what is coming in the days and weeks ahead!  Anya heads back to the vet Thursday for the first of her progesterone testing, which will continue every couple days until her numbers are in the appropriate range for the breeding to occur.

A Visit With Mom

Look who came for a little visit!  Dante stopped by to play with his mommy and also get his ears taped up nice and tall.  No more cup on the head for this little man!  He and his momma had such a fun time wrestling and playing, snuggling and kissing each other.  What a fun couple hours!

A New Home for Red Collar Boy

Last week our little red collar boy FINALLY got to go home with his new family!  It has been a VERY hard secret to keep.  For the last 5 weeks his new daddy and I had been trying to keep this secret from his new mommy.  She wanted Aiden and loved him since he was about a month old.  Little did she know, her husband had a grand scheme to bring the puppy into their family as a gift for his wife. Aiden's new daddy has been waiting to surprise his new mommy with this little guy for awhile.  Aiden was going to stay with us until Christmas, but his new daddy just couldn't wait!  Here are some pics of him meeting his new family!

His new mommy wants his name to be Dante.  His new daddy chose Aiden.  So, they've compromised on Dante Aiden, but he'll be called Dante from now on.  We are gonna miss this little sweetie!  We have grown very attached to him, but we know he is in great hands now.  His new mommy is a dog behavior trainer and Dante will be trained to be her 4-legged helper.  He'll be great at it, as he has a very balanced temperament, high confidence, and he loves people and dogs.  We look forward to seeing him progress.

Aiden

This handsome boy is such a sweetie!  He loves to hang out and be with you wherever you are.  He loves to play, especially with the other dogs, but he also has a very nice calm, well-balanced side to him that we really love. He is a very upbeat puppy, full of curiosity and zest for life.  We expect great things from this boy!

Pepper, ear progress

Little boy Pepper (green collar) is getting his ears aired out between tapings.  They are standing up really well already!  Here he is showing off his big dog ears.  What a handsome fellow!  I love his big, bright eyes and alert awareness!  Looks like his faux-hawk nose cowlick is here to stay.

11 Weeks Old, Pictures of Aiden

Hey friends!  All the puppies are now 11 weeks old.  Aiden is the only one here with us still.  Everyone else is off having adventures with their new families.  Aiden became a cone-head this week for his birthday, so here are some cute pics of him for you to enjoy.  He sure is a happy, playful little guy and we love having him in our home!  He is doing really well with Puppy Boot Camp and is getting the hang of potty-training amazingly well!  We have some fun videos of him playing with the big dogs.  For now, though, all you get are these cute pics of his sweet face!

Little Link is loving his new home and family in Wyoming.  We hear that he is a happy puppy who is VERY loved!  He is a Puppy Boot Camp superstar and has taken to his new training well.  His new family says they are so in love with him.

A New Home for Yellow Boy, "Melo"

Little Yellow Collar boy flew on a plane to Virginia last Saturday.  His new owner is so excited to begin this adventure with his little guy!  We will miss this little sweetheart but know he is in good hands and will have many adventures with his new owner back in the Northeast.

A New Home for Little Brown Boy, "Kobe"

Our energetic, spunky, fun-loving little Brown Collar Boy, "Kobe," went home to Las Vegas with his new owner today.  We are going to miss this super athletic, highly playful little guy.  He has really brightened up our days around here and we know he will bring a lot of joy to his new owner for many years.

10 Weeks Old!!!

We are 10 weeks old today, 2.5 months!  We are so big and active!  We love to romp and play with each other and we eat a TON!  Our favorite part of the day is when we get to go to the park with the big dogs to run, play, and explore.  We have so much fun together.  Only 3 of us are left here with Mama, but we make the best of it.  We like to go on walks too, but the leash is something we think is kind of silly.  But, it means we get to go out and explore new places, so we put up with it.  Pretty soon we will all be with our new families!  We can't wait!

Our handsome, smart little Orange Collar boy, named Link, went with his new family home to Wyoming today.  We will miss this fun, happy boy, but know he is in good hands.  He will be well-loved and cared for by his new family.
